So the perpetrator now has come from the side and gotten us into a really strong headlock. Now we're gonna demonstrate how we're able to neutralize this threat. He grabs me around the neck and bends me over. I take both of my arms, and the great part about this is that it doesn't take a lot of strength. I'm using the blade part of my forearm, and I'm gonna use my other hand against it, to drive that into the throat and chin of my aggressor. From here, lookit. My hand is already here on the back of their head. I take my right knee, now, and deliver a knee strike. Knee strike to the face. If they're still fighting, another knee strike. They collapse, and I retreat and evade. So as we practice this skill at home for the headlock from the side, our training partner is gonna hold the thai pad here. This is gonna become their face for our knee strikes. Remember, in breaking the triangle choke, or the headlock from the side, we're gonna bring our hands here. We strip their arm away, efficiently grab the back of their head and neck. And lookit. We now deliver knee strike. Now, ideally your opponent can hold this down so there's some resistance. Knee strike. Knee strike.
If a person comes from the side and gets you in a headlock, you can neutralize them without a lot of strength. By driving the side of your hand into the aggressors neck, then grabbing the back of the aggressor's head, you can then give knee strikes and escape.
