What's Included in a Typical ACLS Course?

ACLS stands for Advanced Cardiac Life Support. In this course, you’ll learn information and skills to help you care for patients suffering from a cardiac event and increase their chances of survival until paramedics or other assistance arrives.

Renew Your ACLS Certification

Initial ACLS certification courses are designed to provide training for people who’ve never been certified before. ACLS recertification is ideal for medical professionals who have previously completed an ACLS certification program and who need to renew their certificate to remain in good standing.

When you complete your ACLS training, you’ll receive a course completion card that will expire in two years. Avoid being out of compliance with your employer or licensing body by renewing your certification with a recertification course once every two years.
