  • Teachers in Vermont are required to have an Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED and First Aid certification,
  • The Vermont Agency of Education does not require Teachers to maintain CPR certification for licensure. However, Health and Physical Education Teachers are required to maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification for all ages.
  • CPR certification requirements are decided by the individual School Districts upon employment.
  • A (hands-on) practical skills component is required by the state or by your local district to maintain employment.
  • Most employers will require a Lay Rescuer CPR, AED, and First Aid certification for all ages.
 

Course Content


Teachers in Vermont usually need a Lay Rescuer CPR, AED certification. Required training should include; Adult, Child, Infant CPR, AED and First Aid with a practical (hands-on) skills component.
