  • Coaches in Iowa are required to have an Adult, Child, and Infant Pediatric CPR, AED and First Aid certification.
  • The Iowa Board of Educational Examiners requires a Lay Rescuer CPR, AED certification. Required training should include; Adult, Child, Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • A practical (hands-on) skills component is required by the state or by your local district to maintain employment.
